User Experience and Human-Computer Interaction

Research in User Experience and Human–Computer Interaction examines how people perceive, understand, and engage with interactive technologies across digital, physical, and hybrid environments. Our faculty study and design interfaces, systems, and intelligent tools that prioritize usability, accessibility, ethics, and human-centered values, drawing from design, computer science, psychology, and the social sciences. Research strengths include interaction design, usability evaluation, inclusive and accessible technologies, conversational and AI-driven systems, and emerging interfaces. Together, this work advances technologies that are not only functional and efficient, but also equitable, interpretable, and responsive to real human needs.
