Augmented and Virtual Reality research examines the technical, psychological, and societal implications of augmented, virtual, and mixed reality technologies. Several of the largest technology companies in the world believe these 3-D will transform the future of media landscape. Our faculty work with some of the most cutting-edge hardware in the CougAR lab and develop applications of AR/VR technologies across several important domains such as education, health care, digital twinning, and cybersecurity.
