Wen joined the Cullen College of Engineering as an Assistant Professor after completing a postdoctoral appointment at the AI Innovation Institute at Stony Brook University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston.
His research lies at the intersection of AI systems, computer architecture, and computer graphics. He develops cross-layer algorithms and hardware–software co-design techniques to improve the performance, energy efficiency, and scalability of intelligent computing systems.
