The objective of his research primarily includes designing, developing, and implementing practical solutions for cyber-physical systems across safety-critical, mission-critical, and consumer-focused domains, such as connected autonomy, industrial systems, and smart cities, among others. For that, his research interests are directed mainly toward incorporating advanced techniques, including quantum-resilient security, privacy aware computing, AI-native wireless, multimodal learning, edge intelligence, and large models with an aim on addressing real-world challenges in cyber-physical systems. The inherently multidisciplinary nature of his research seeks to seamlessly integrate the physical world (IoT smart devices, machines, sensors, actuators, and vehicles) with the digital world (computing, communications, control, and intelligence), thereby advancing the capabilities of cyber-physical systems toward smarter, more secure, and more connected systems and people’s lifestyles.
